Rajasthan Chief Minister Chiranjeevi Accidental Insurance Scheme

Introduction

• Chief Minister Chiranjeevi Accidental Insurance Scheme is the prominent scheme of Rajasthan Government.
• It was launched on 01-05-2022.
• The main objective behind launching this scheme is to provide financial support to those families whose one or more than one family member is dead or disabled in accident.
• Chief Minister Chiranjeevi Accidental Insurance Scheme is also known by other name such as :- "Mukhyamantri Chiranjeevi Durghatna Bima Yojana" or "Chief Minister Chiranjeevi Durghatna Bima Yojana".
• State Insurance and Provident Fund Department of Rajasthan Government is the nodal department of this scheme.
• Government of Rajasthan will provide financial assistance to those families whose one or more than one family member is dead in a accident or got disabled.
• Only those families are eligible to get financial assistance under this scheme who are already registered in Chief Minister Chiranjeevi Health Insurance Scheme.
• Financial Assistance of Rs. 5,00,000/- will be provided to those family whose one family member is dead in a accident.
• If more than one family member is dead in accident, then in that case Government of Rajasthan will provide financial assistance of Rs. 10,00,000/- under Rajasthan Chief Minister Chiranjeevi Accidental Insurance Scheme.
• In case of full or partial disability, the amount of financial assistance is varied from Rs. 1,50,000/- to Rs. 3,00,000/-.
• It is mandatory to claim for financial assistance within 60 days of date of accident or date of death of person.
• Beneficiary can apply for financial assistance within 90 days under exceptional circumstances.
• Employees of all 5 Power Company are also eligible under Rajasthan Chief Minister Chiranjeevi Accidental Insurance Scheme.
• In case of Death or Disability of a Family Member, Legal Heir can apply for claim through Online Claim Application Form of Rajasthan Chief Minister Chiranjeevi Accidental Insurance Scheme.
• Applicant can also check the Application Status of Chief Minister Chiranjeevi Accidental Insurance Scheme Online.

Benefits

• The following financial assistance will be provided to all eligible beneficiaries under Rajasthan Mukhyamantri Chiranjeevi Durghatna Bima Yojana in case of Death or Disability :-

  Category	Financial Assistance
  In Case of Death. (Single Family Member)	Rs. 5,00,000/-
  In Case of Death. (More than 1 Family Member)	Rs. 10,00,000/-
  Any Type of Below Mentioned Disability :- Amputation of Both Hand or Both Leg. Amputation of One Hand or One Leg or Both Eyes. One Eye or One Leg. One Leg or Full Amputation of One Eye.	Rs. 3,00,000/-
  Complete Amputation of 1 Hand/ Leg/ Eye	Rs. 1,50,000/-

Eligibility

• Beneficiary should be a Permanent Resident of Rajasthan.
• Beneficiary should have Jan Aadhar Card.
• The Death of Person should be Accidental not Natural.
• Beneficiary Family should be Registered in Mukhyamantri Chiranjeevi Health Insurance Scheme.
• No Person are Eligible if Family is not registered in Chiranjeevi Accidental Insurance Scheme.

Eligibility Conditions for Claim

• If Death or Disability of a person is occurred due to any of the following reasons then the family are eligible to claim financial assistance under Chief Minister Chiranjeevi Accidental Insurance Scheme :-

  Families registered under Mukhyamantri Chiranjeevi Swasthya Bima Yojana are only eligible to apply for claim. Physical Injury or Death should be occurred due to Accident. Death or Disability due to any of the below mentioned reason are subject to eligible for claim of financial assistance under Rajasthan Chief Minister Accidental Accidental Insurance Scheme :- Death/ Disability in Road Accident. Death/ Disability in Rail Accident. Death/ Disability in Airplane Accident. Due to House Collapse. Due to Fall from Height. Disability/ Death due to Fall of Object from Height. By Doing Chemical Spraying. By Drowning. By Burning. Due to Electric Shock.

Ineligibility Conditions for Claim

• If Death or Disability of a person is occurred due to any of the below mentioned reasons then no financial assistance will be provided to beneficiary under Chief Minister Chiranjeevi Accidental Insurance Scheme :-

  No Financial Assistance will be provided in case of Natural Death. Death of Disability due to any of the following disease :- Cancer, Tuberculosis. Heart Attack. Mental Illness etc. Murder or Attempt to Murder. Suicide or Attempt to Suicide. Consumption of Alcohol/ Drugs. Death or Disability due to Operation in Hospital. Nuclear Disaster or Civil War. During Attack of Enemy Country or Anti National Forces. During Child Birth. Due to Venomous Creature Bite.

How To Register

• There is no need for separate registration for Rajasthan Chief Minister Chiranjeevi Accidental Insurance Scheme.
• Those families who are registered under Chief Minister Chiranjeevi Health Insurance Scheme are automatically consider registered under Rajasthan Chief Minister Accidental Insurance Scheme.
• Applicant only need to apply for claim under Chief Minister Chiranjeevi Accidental Insurance Scheme in case of any accident happened.
• The claim procedure is very simple.
• Eligible Beneficiary can apply for financial assistance under Rajasthan Mukhyamantri Chiranjeevi Durghatna Bima Yojana through Online Claim Application Form.
• Claim should be filed within 60 Days of date of accident or date of death.

How to Claim

• Eligible Beneficiary can claim the financial assistance promised under Chief Minister Chiranjeevi Accidental Insurance Scheme through Online Claim Application Form.
• Online Claim Application Form is available at Chief Minister Chiranjeevi Accidental Insurance Scheme Official Portal.
• Open the portal and Click on Apply for Chiranjeevi.
• Applicant has to enter his Jan Aadhar Card Number then.
• All the Family Details of Applicant will appear on screen once he/ she enter the Jan Aadhar Card Number.
• Now choose Family Member from the list whose death or disability occurred in the accident.
• Fill the accident details like Reason of Accident, Place of Accident etc.
• Upload the below mentioned documents on the portal :-
  • Hospital Report.
  • FIR/ Rojnamcha/ FR. (In Case of Death)
  • Diagnostic Report.
  • Disability Certificate from Medical Board.
• Preview the Claim Application Form of Mukhyamantri Chiranjeevi Durghatna Bima Yojana and click on submit button to submit it.
• It is mandatory to claim for financial assistance under Mukhyamantri Chiranjeevi Accidental Health Insurance Scheme within 60 day from the death of accident or date of death.
• In exceptional circumstance, applicant can also apply within 90 days.
• Portal will verify the Mobile Number of Applicant through OTP before submission of claim form.
• Concerned Official from department and insurance company will verify the received claim application form of Chiranjeevi Accidental Insurance Scheme.
• Claim will be settled within 30 days of receiving the application.
• Once the claim approved, the financial assistance under Rajasthan Chief Minister Chiranjeevi Accidental Insurance Scheme will be transferred in the bank account of beneficiary.
